CRM Optimisation

Fix the system you already own instead of buying a new one.

Most CRMs are running at a fraction of what they cost, and the fix is rarely dramatic.

The pattern is consistent. The system was set up well enough at launch, then the business changed and the configuration didn’t. New stages got bolted on. Fields multiplied. Someone left and their automations became untouchable folklore. Data entry got more tedious each year, so people did less of it, so the reporting got less reliable, so people trusted it less and entered even less.

Optimisation is about reversing that spiral with specific, unglamorous work:

  • Simplify the interface. Remove dead fields, cut required fields to the ones that genuinely matter, and lay out page views around the actual job.
  • Fix the pipeline. Stages that mean something, with clear entry and exit criteria everyone agrees on.
  • Automate the data entry that’s driving people away — logging, follow-up tasks, stage movement, record creation from forms and email.
  • Clean the data and put validation in place so it stays clean.
  • Rebuild reporting around the questions leadership actually asks.
  • Reconnect the integrations that broke and nobody reported.

We scope it as a ranked list so you can take the top few items and stop, or work through the lot. Either way you’ll usually get more out of six weeks of this than a year of replatforming.
